In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to import your photos to Photoshop from Lightroom.

This is assuming you have done preliminary edits in Lightroom, and are ready to do the main edit. Think of Lightroom as the main “hub” for keeping track of photos, while Photoshop is where the bulk of your editing will happen.

Now, there’s three different ways to import to Photoshop, depending on what type of image you’re working with. I’m going to show you how to do work with standard images, focus stack/exposure blends, and smart objects.

Finally, I’m going to wrap up this tutorial by showing you how to properly sync your images with Lightroom. This will allow you to see your Photoshop edits on the Lightroom “hub,” and give you the option to re-edit them in Photoshop if need be.
