To distract myself from the madness of last week, I decided to go on a date with another chick.

People always ask what my dating life is like on the road. And normally I don't divulge such intimate details, but this one felt weird enough to share.

Today I braved the storm of the century.

Today I took a trip to a universe of exceptional color.

Today I got torched by a massive wave. While high.

Today I decided to escape the clutches of fall by hiking the tallest hill on the eastern seaboard- Cadillac Mountain. 

Today I decided that fall was over. For real. 

Fun fact, “Acadia” translates to “Heaven on Earth” in French. Second to “baguette,” I think that’s the only French I’ll ever learn.

Is treescape a word? Because after this shoot, I’m going to trademark it.

And thus, the journey to the heart of Maine begins.
